Course duration: 1/2 day (4 hrs)

Course objectives: Display Screen Equipment Safety Awareness.

Course target delegates: Persons who make regular use of Display Screen Equipment at work.

Delegates will gain an understanding of:

• W.R.U.L.D's (Work Related Upper Limb Disorders), their causes and symptoms.

• Impact of W.R.U.L.D's.

• Legislation and regulatory duties.

• Common problem areas.

• Workstation assessment.

• Workstation ergonomics.

• Adjustment and selection of key components.

• Posture and seating adjustment.

• Assessment techniques.

• Practical application of ergonomics.

Delegates will carry out classroom exercises, example D.S.E. assessments and a practical assessment with written paper to display understanding.

They will also receive all relevant course materials and support papers.

All Delegates will receive a certificate of attendance.
