Course duration:  (2-3 hr short course)

Course objectives: To make delegates aware of the hazards of high noise in work areas.

Course target delegates: Persons exposed to noise in their work environment.

Delegates will gain an understanding of:

• Defining Noise.

• How noise affects them and their environment.

• How Noise is measured.

• Employer and Employee responsibilities in regards to noise.

• Noise level action values.

• The difference between management control and personal protection.

• Types and selection of Hearing protection.

Delegates will take a written paper to demonstrate understanding.

They will also receive all relevant course materials and support papers.

All Delegates will receive a certificate of attendance.
